"Resurrection Bound"
Last Sunday, Oct. 15th, my wife and I had the opportuntity  to meet a wonderful Gospel Singing Group known as the "Resurrection Bound".  I was parking my truck and getting ready to go to our church when I saw a couple of gentlemen unloading a trailer in front of another church close by.  Being how I like to talk I started a conversation and soon found out that they were a gospel singing group and would be singing today locally.

After our church services ended my wife and I returned to our parking space where once again I saw the men that I had spoken to before and they invited us in to listen to the group rehearsing for their performance. Their singing was absolutely wonderful! They were very gracious in their renderings and even upon my request sang a most heart warming version of "What a Friend We Have in Jesus".  This was my Dad's all time favorite Hymn and their presentation just about brought tears to my eyes.

This group is a quartet that is based in Morgantown, Kentucky.  Members of the group are Donna Embry, Doug Odle, Alan Romans, and Terry VanMeter. Bookings can be arranged by contacting Donna Embey at 1-270-526-6977 or Alan Romans at 1-270-999-1725. For additional information please view their new website at http://www.resurrectionbound.com. Their current schedule is shown on the website.

Kellye Sims

Kellye and I met by accident!  It was due to my "accident"!  I had broken my back and was cared for by an outstanding Ohio County Hospital Staff. Upon my release from the hospital, Kellye who is the Private Pay Counselor met with me and and reviewed the payment options relating to my hospital care. Since then we have become good friends.

Before joining the Ohio County Hospital staff Kellye spent 20 years in the banking industry. She and her husband Mark have two sons, Luke and Logan.  Luke is in college in Tennessee and Logan is attending the University of Louisville.  Kellye and her husband live locally and stay busy tending to their Pekingese puppies.  She also enjoys visiting with her Mother in Paducah, Kentucky.  Kellye has been a member of the Beaver Dam Baptist Chuch for over 25 years.

Thanks Kellye for being such a caring person.  I find you to be an asset to your employer, the Ohio County Hospital and certainly to the entire Ohio County Communtity!
